the stone...

we were hiking up mount wellinton in the morning when this conversation happened between me and my freind. he asked me whether for what he is doing now, is he the right person to do it or is it he is doing the wrong thing.

to answer his question, it came across to my mind not to answer it in a normal order and make it something different. i told him that there is stone in a stream where from time to time no matter what happen the stone will always be there, firm and solid. at the begining of the stone life, it is ugly, crooked and doesn't have any shape. but as time past by, the stone get smoother and get rounder thanks to the water flow that flow around it everyday. the water flow could be slow and gentle, or maybe sometimes dirty, muddy, or maybe sometimes could be big and rapid. but all this will not move the stone even an inch and on top of that it helps the stone to get the shape that the stone should get. i told him that he should consider himself as the stone and the stream that flows everyday as the bigger society or the peoples who live around him and they are the medium of changes. through what he had and will experience later in life by dealing with the society or the peoples, no matter bad or good, sad or happy, it will eventually turn him into a better and wise person. the only obstacle that he need to consider is time and patient which is hard to get.

although this conversation doesn't really end up in a better way due to certain problem that occurs while we were hiking, it really make me think. it make me realised that in life, it is about realising things that happened to us everyday as part of our life experience. nothing more we could or should ask for but what we should do is to treasure it as how it should be treasured. make less complain and appreciate more. to my friends, to be a good person, nothing in life should make you feel disappointed but any disappointment that happened should be turned into a precious moments.

p/s:any good deeds that we do to others is not because we want to do it but it is because others deserve it from us...
